Description of Research

Shayla is a second year graduate student in the in the Clinical/Behavioral Medicine track of the Human Services Psychology program at UMBC. She is currently studying the buffering impact that self-control has on quitting smoking and staying quit during times of stress. More broadly, her research interests include health behavior change as it pertains to addictive behaviors (including nicotine dependence, alcohol dependence, and illicit substance dependence), obesity, and eating disorders.Description of Research
