AROURA is currently in a "study season" period, restricted to cataloguing and analysis in storerooms and laboratories. However, it anticipates resuming fieldwork soon, and it is accepting applications for employment of experienced excavators, excavation supervisors, field-walkers, geologists, geomorphologists, pollen stratigraphers, archaeobotanists, and relevant material culture specialists. All employment is contingent on the approval of the IX Ephorate of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities, General Directorate of Antiquities and Cultural Heritage, Thebes, Greece. Although AROURA cannot at present offer course credit through any of its affiliated institutions, students may be able to arrange for course credit through their home institutions.
