Poster: Inferring the Effect of Interviewer Time on Data Quality from a Causal Inference Perspective
The National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS) gathers information on personal and property crime in the US. A sample of people, ages 12 and older, is tracked for a period of 3 years and interviewed every 6 months. Interviewers play a critical role in assembling high-quality data to understand crime problems in the US. In this project, we analyze data about the interviewing process and try to understand the effect of interviewers on the data quality.
