Grant Thornton

Jim is an assurance partner in the Baltimore office and the Mid-Atlantic Area Technology Practice Leader. He focuses on serving technology and government contracting clients. He has more than 18 years experience serving companies with private placement offerings, initial public and secondary offerings, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Jim is a specialist in Securities and Exchange Commission matters and with issues faced by public companies. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Jim served as the chief financial officer for a NASDAQ listed telecommunications company, and for a privately held start-up company developing a medical diagnostic for the detection of life threatening viruses. These experiences have given Jim the opportunity to understand business from "the other side."
