AVIcode Named Maryland Best New Incubator Company of the Year
Software Company is Latest Success Enabled by UMBC's Technology Incubator
Baltimore, MD, (May 23, 2005) – AVIcode, Inc., a privately held software development company, today announced that it has been named as the 2005 Best New Incubator Company of the Year in the fifth annual Maryland Incubator Company of the Year Awards. The awards recognize the achievements of current and graduate companies within Maryland 's technology incubators. This year, AVIcode was selected in the “ Best New Incubator” category, which recognizes companies that have entered a Maryland incubator since January of the previous year. AVIcode was selected from among companies located at 16 Maryland incubator sites statewide, based on a number of factors including:
