TECHGUARD SECURITY, LLC Promotes Johnny Flores to
Vice President, Government Business Development

Baltimore and St. Louis-- (October 31, 2005 ) TechGuard Security, LLC (TechGuard®), global provider of network security services and developer of the Great Walls of Fire® line of security products, today announced the promotion of Johnny Flores to Vice President - Government Business Development. Mr. Flores will have the primary responsibility for performance and management of federal, state and local government business development activities.

“Johnny has been an integral part of the TechGuard Security management team for the past four years, bringing strategic relationships that have led to significant government prime and subtracting opportunities” said Suzanne Joyce , President/CEO of TechGuard.

Mr. Flores joined TechGuard in 2001 as Director of DC Operations. He was responsible for opening TechGuard's Maryland office now located at the UMBC TechCentre, and for TechGuard being honored as Maryland 's IT Incubator of the Year Company for 2005.

Mr. Flores retired after 22 years of service to the US Air Force and is a NIST/NSA certified network security professional. He is currently a member of the Baltimore Tech Council, the FBI InfraGard program, and the AFCEA organization. Mr. Flores was selected to serve as a member of the Department of Labor Security Working Group.
