UMBC GIS Balloon Mapping

Check out this Balloon Mapping Project from two graduate students of UMBC's GIS Master's Program, David Firman and Sean Kelly. As part of an independent study, Firman and Kelly set a helium balloon floating with a camera attached to take aerial pictures of Utica Park in Frederick Maryland. Below is a video explaining their project and desired outcomes, as well as a snapshot of the park that their balloon camera captured.
