Our Mission

The UMBC–Stanford Workshop on Clinical Trials and Regulatory Science is dedicated to advancing innovation in biomedical research by fostering collaboration among the regulatory agencies, academia, industry and broader biomedical research community. Through scientific exchange, education, and interdisciplinary dialogue, the workshop provides a platform for addressing emerging challenges in clinical trials, regulatory science, biostatistics, artificial intelligence, and evidence-based decision-making.

We strive to promote rigorous scientific methodologies, accelerate the translation of research into healthcare solutions, and support the development of next-generation leaders in clinical research and regulatory science.
