Welcome to the 2026 UMBC–Stanford Workshop on Clinical Trials and Regulatory Science. We are delighted to bring together leaders from academia, regulatory agencies, the biopharmaceutical industry, and healthcare organizations for two days of scientific exchange, collaboration, and innovation.

As clinical research enters an era increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence, machine learning, and real-world evidence, the need for rigorous statistical methods and sound regulatory decision-making has never been greater.
